About the role

This position performs a critical client data management role for the CIS Implementation and Support organization at Early Warning. You will be responsible for research and analysis of dataset contribution at multiple levels, developing metrics and reporting to support the overall health of client data contributions and consortium data used in Early Warning products and services. Additionally, you will manage critical client data projects for top-tier and strategic customers that may impact the performance of Early Warning products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform research and analytics at the client, cross-client, dataset, product, and consortium levels to determine the overall health and quality of consortium data used in Early Warning products and services.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert regarding datasets and their relevance to Early Warning products and services.
  • Identify areas and opportunities for improving data quality at the client, tier, dataset, product, and consortium levels.
  • Manage non-routine client data projects critical to the overall quality of consortium data, including identification, selection, scheduling, and forecasting of data quality validation projects.
  • Manage and document multiple cases and projects simultaneously using the Early Warning CRM tool.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, vendors, business analysts, project managers, and development teams to assess data feeds and expectations.
  • Research, analyze, and report on data contribution, data quality, and data monitoring issues at the product or consortium level.
  • Assess the impact of data contribution or quality issues to provide insights on urgency and remediation steps in collaboration with customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage remediation projects to validate results.
  • Assist with impact assessments and establish the severity of data issues, as well as client-initiated projects or requests.
  • Monitor results of data quality validations and client data monitoring to identify themes and trends requiring adjustments to key performance or risk indicators.
  • Work closely with Early Warning business partners to ensure access to data and tools, and explore self-service opportunities.
  • Develop and manage reporting routines to provide insights to stakeholders (clients, resellers, internal teams).
  • Coordinate data sourcing and provisioning for the Client Data Management team and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing internal processes and procedures related to customer data contributions and data quality dimensions.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for process improvements, efficiencies, and data analytics tools.
  • Provide assistance and training to support staff on data contributions, data quality, data monitoring, automation, and tools.
  • Comply with all security policies and procedures to maintain system and data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Support the company’s commitment to protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, data quality, data management, or a related technology role.
  • 3 years of experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau Prep, SAS, R, Python, or other programming languages.
  • Experience in financial institution operations, fraud detection, investigations, or compliance.
  • Broad understanding of Early Warning products and services, including how contributed data is used, operating rules, and technical requirements.
  • Proven project management experience, including leadership skills to manage multiple complex projects, work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and constant change.
  • Strong customer service and client management skills.
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to varying audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to translate complex technical jargon into business language for key stakeholders.
  • Highly engaged, self-starter with the ability to balance achieving results and fostering collaboration.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and orchestrating process improvements.
  • Successful completion of background and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or certification in data management platforms such as Talend or Informatica (Enterprise Data Catalog, Axon, Data Quality).
  • Strong risk management competencies.
  • Strong knowledge of data quality dimensions (timeliness, accuracy, completeness, etc.).
  • 1 or more years of experience in a related role with bank operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively internally and externally at all levels.
  • Strong PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Ability to complete and coordinate work functions with customers in accordance with FCRA requirements.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions) to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to perform essential functions and physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer, involving sitting for periods of approximately four hours.
  • May require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
  • Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment, including personal computers.
  • Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

Pay

The base pay scale for this position in Phoenix, AZ, Chicago, IL, or Washington, DC is $84,000 - $105,000 USD per year. Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan. Pay is subject to change and depends on factors such as job scope, market rates, geographic location, candidate’s education, experience, training, and specialized skills.
