Data Analyst (TS/SCI)
About the role
WWC Global, an operating firm of Command Holdings, seeks a Data Analyst to support USSOCOM's mission to transform the SOF Enterprise into a data-centric organization. The ideal candidate will apply scientific methods, algorithms, and analytical processes to extract actionable insights and knowledge from both structured and unstructured data.
Responsibilities
Apply scientific methods, algorithms, and analytical processes to extract actionable insights and knowledge from both structured and unstructured data across the SOF Enterprise.
Perform descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to support command decision-making and operational planning.
Collect, clean, and prepare data for analysis, applying statistical techniques and visualization capabilities to communicate findings.
Use and integrate data into existing analytical tools and platforms.
Develop methods to consume and integrate data from various operational platforms to enable near real-time analysis of operational situations.
Design and deliver enterprise dashboards and visualizations to convey complex data findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Adhere to integrated data, analytics, and AI governance standards in accordance with SOCOM policies and the VAULTIS data management framework.
Support the translation of analytical requirements from customer requests to actionable data products.
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and SOF stakeholders to define, refine, and validate analytical products and deliverables.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical or analytical field.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical discipline, including hands-on experience with data visualization tools, querying languages, and statistical analysis in support of organizational decision-making.
Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.
Proficiency in SQL for querying relational and non-relational databases.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or equivalent platforms.
Working knowledge of at least one analytical programming language (Python, R, or similar).
Strong understanding of statistical analysis methods and data modeling concepts with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with cloud data environments and analytical platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent).
Understanding of data governance, data quality, and security principles in classified and unclassified environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
Professional proficiency in English is required.
Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to access federal facilities in compliance with Real ID.
