Position Summary

Customer Service Coordinators act as the front office liaisons, facilitating the smooth operation of the front office. Their responsibilities include greeting clients, escorting them to clean exam rooms, weighing pets accurately, offering water, keeping the reception area clean, and communicating effectively with assistants and technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and make them feel welcomed
  • Escort clients and patients to clean, empty exam rooms
  • Accurately weigh pets on the correct scale
  • Assist clients to their cars if necessary
  • Keep the reception area clean and organized by dusting, picking up trash, and organizing the work area
  • Clean exam rooms between clients and restock them as needed
  • Stock and serve coffee to clients
  • Communicate with assistants/technicians about upcoming exams
  • Build positive professional relationships with clients and staff members

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in retail sales or customer service (1+ years preferred)
  • Experience in a medical facility (desired)
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and active listening)
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Physical demands: regular talking and hearing, frequent use of a computer, bending, reaching, grasping, and repetitive motions, exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, pets dander, and excretions, exposure to low to moderate noise levels, ability to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted, 50 lbs. with assistance, flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Qualifications

  • Completed high school diploma
