About the role

Mr. Handyman and HM Remodeling in Granger, Indiana (South Bend area) is seeking a seasoned office professional with answering service or dispatcher experience who puts clients first. The role involves answering customer phone calls, assisting clients with booking jobs, and scheduling and routing technicians.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound and outbound customer communications
• Assist clients with booking jobs
• Schedule and route technicians
• Manage work schedules for service professionals
• Make recommendations and manage customer expectations

Requirements

• Live within the South Bend area
• 5+ years of construction industry experience
• Previous construction/handyman experience
• Friendly, outgoing, and highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Self‑starter with problem‑solving abilities
• Professional communication skills and phone etiquette
• Ability to multitask
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20 to $24 per hour, dependent on experience.
