About the role
At Chewy Vet Care, we're transforming veterinary care from the ground up. We believe in creating a workplace where veterinary teams can thrive every day. Our new veterinary practices are launching in early 2024, and we're seeking a full-time Client Concierge to join our Healthcare Practice Team.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with peers to embody the Chewy Vet Care culture and deliver the pet parent WOW experience.
- Provide stellar service and communication to pet parents, handling all patient intakes and front-end client-facing interactions.
- Apply strong social and communication skills to assist pet parents with medical care and resolve issues promptly.
- Use integrated technology, including proficiency in the Practice Information Management System (PIMS).
- Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standards of Care (SOC).
- Assist the Practice Manager with inventory needs and communicate effectively.
- Clean workspaces after each patient interaction.
- Participate in self-development courses and comply with Chewy Vet Care required training.
- May be required to work weekends and travel occasionally.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-focused environment, with a preference for veterinary experience.
- Strong ability to connect with clients and demonstrate empathy and compassion.
- Excellent social, verbal/written communication, observational, and analytical skills.
- A passion for helping people and pets with empathy and excellent customer service focus.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, self-starter environment.
Physical Job Requirements
- Standing or walking up to 80% per shift.
- Frequently lift up to 50 to 70 pounds using an optional team lift.
- Sometimes lift greater than 70+ pounds using a team lift.
- Stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel.
Pay
The hourly range for this role is $15.62 - $23.55. The specific hourly range offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors including experience, education, and work location. This position is eligible for a 401(k) plan.

Schedule
This role may require weekend work and occasional travel.
