About the role

Mindful Support Services is a company dedicated to empowering therapists, psychologists, and nurse practitioners to start their own private practices. We provide high-quality billing, marketing, and administrative services to independent mental health care providers. Since opening in 2011, we have added over 2,000 providers across 20 locations, and we are continuing to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Create a warm and welcoming phone call for new clients calling to access mental healthcare for the first time
  • Match new clients with the mental health provider that best suits their needs
  • Communicate clearly and effectively
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail when entering client data
  • Maintain personal and team qualitative and quantitative goals
  • Absorb and assist with emotionally challenging phone calls and refer clients in crisis to the appropriate resources
  • Provide education to clients about insurance, authorizations, provider policies, and payments

Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience: 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer support role
  • Resilience: Navigate challenging conversations with empathy and maintain composure while supporting clients facing minor or severe mental health issues
  • Growth Oriented Mindset: Embrace challenges, seek continuous improvement, be open to feedback and learning opportunities
  • Strong Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and effectively over the phone, email, or Microsoft Teams
  • Multitasking and Time Management: Handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and manage time efficiently
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Match clients with the appropriate provider based on their needs once trained
  • Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even in challenging situations

Qualifications

No prior medical or insurance experience is required; in-depth training is provided by the skilled and supportive team.

Pay

$22.00 per hour

Schedule

  • Standard Schedule: Job Type: Full-time. The team rotates between opening, mid, and closing shifts within operating hours of 7:00am-8:10pm.
  • Closing Schedule: Job Type: Full-time. Workweek options include Monday-Friday or Friday-TuesdayShift times may be: 11:00am-7:30pm or 12:00pm-8:10pm
  • 4/10s Schedule: Job Type: Full-time; schedule consists of four 10-hour workdays. Available shift groupings include: Monday-Thursday, Tuesday-Friday or Wednesday-SaturdayShift times may be: 8:00am-6:30pm or 9:30am-8:10pm
