Responsibilities
- Works directly with admits.
- Conducts interviews and assists with filling out public assistance applications and forms.
- Affords new admits with applying for Medicaid through the Marketplace.
- Negotiates with various agencies to assist clients in obtaining necessary IDs, mandate letters, employment letters, etc.
- Completes paperwork for all clients receiving SSA benefits to ensure PH is payee.
- Completes SSP paperwork to get full budget payments for SSA clients.
- Processes all mail-in recertification applications and coordinates face-to-face recertification appointments for HRA clients.
- Affords patients if they have Medicaid Restrictions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of related experience, required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software suite, required.
- Experience with insurance and third-party billing associated with health care benefits and medical terminology, preferred.
