About the role

The Client Accounting Services (CAS) Department Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the CAS department, ensuring efficient financial management and customer service. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the CAS department, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage a team of accountants and support staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives.
  • Represent the CAS department at internal and external meetings, presenting financial data and insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
  • Proven ability to manage a team and lead complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • CPA certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience with financial systems and software.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
