About the role
The Client Accounting Services (CAS) Department Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the CAS department, ensuring efficient and accurate financial reporting and management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial operations of the CAS department, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage a team of accountants and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a managerial role.
- Proven ability to manage a team and lead complex projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
Qualifications
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience with financial systems and software.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
