About the role

The Client Accounting Services (CAS) Department Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the CAS department, ensuring efficient financial management and customer service. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is responsible for managing a team of accountants and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial operations of the CAS department, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a managerial capacity.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
  • Qualifications

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience with financial systems and software.
    • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

    Pay

    $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

    Schedule

    Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
