About the role
The Client Accounting Services (CAS) Department Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the CAS department, ensuring efficient and accurate financial reporting and client service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial reporting process for all clients within the CAS department.
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants and support staff.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve department efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless client service.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Proven leadership and management experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
Qualifications
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience with client relationship management systems.
- Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices.
