About the role

The Client Accounting Services (CAS) Department Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the CAS department, ensuring efficient and accurate financial reporting and client service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial reporting process for all clients within the CAS department.
  • Manage and mentor a team of accountants and support staff.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve department efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless client service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Proven leadership and management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.

Qualifications

  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Experience with client relationship management systems.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices.
