About the role
Receives, stores, and distributes material and products while maintaining a clean, organized, secure, and safe Warehouse area.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure Warehouse area free of foreign objects
- Follow Company safety rules and regulations
- Interact with QC Incoming Inspection and Accounts Payable
- Support the Warehouse Foreperson with data entry of receiving and consumption of materials (Inventory Clerk IV)
- Carry out forklift driver, picker, and/or shipping and receiving responsibilities, as required
- Receiving data entry
- Consumption tracking
- Pulling materials
- Delivering materials to production
- Parts identification
- Identify and resolve system and data issues
- Maintain data integrity in the system
- Work with Accounts Payable to solve paperwork issues
- Other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Requirements
- Fluent in English (written and oral) preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and special packaging instructions
- Familiarity with proper packaging methods
- Computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office (for data entry responsibilities)
- Must be forklift certified within 30 days of position assignment
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
- Compliance with all personnel policies
- Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Temporary Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand or sit, and move about the facility
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Work Environment
- Work usually performed in a warehouse setting
- Moderate noise level in the work environment
Qualifications
High school level knowledge required. Warehouse/Inventory Clerk experience preferred but not required.
