Clerical Documentation Assistant

Job Summary

Seeking a Clerical Documentation Assistant (CDA) who assists the provider with navigating the medical record, locating information for review, and researching information as requested.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Capture accurate and detailed documentation of the patient/Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP)/Independent Advanced Practice Professional (Independent APP) encounter in a timely manner (during the encounter or immediately following the patient encounter).
• Navigate the medical record.
• Locate information for review.
• Research information as requested by the provider.
• Perform other related job functions as assigned.

Qualifications You Will Need

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Medical Scribe Certification (Preferred).
• Minimum one-year experience as a scribe or previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting required.
• Medical Terminology Course Preferred.
