Claims Care Representative-Hybrid in New Berlin, NY

About the role

This position is a hybrid role requiring 3-6 months of on-site training in our New Berlin, NY office and working on-site several times a month once training is completed.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions and deliver services for high-touch and high-volume claims, supporting units within the department.
• Develop proficiency in routine claims support functions such as FNOL intake, Safelite glass claim coordination, rental management, and handling inbound claims calls.
• Work independently within 3–6 months, following established SOPs and providing continuous improvement feedback to SOPs.
• Meet individual goals within defined KPIs and SLAs.
• Escalate issues and non-routine transactions to supervisor as appropriate.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Related work experience preferred.
• Experience with various technology platforms utilized by Preferred Mutual, including but not limited to Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, etc., desired.

Pay

$20.00 to $22.00 per hour

Schedule

Rotating schedule of 7:30am-4pm and 8:30am-5pm. No nights or weekends!
