Claims Adjuster Senior - Litigation - Fresno, CA

About the role

This position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. It is a hybrid role, requiring four days of in-office presence per month for important meetings, training, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Investigating complex and high-risk claims, including those with attorney representation or additional litigation features.
• Consulting with police officers, medical professionals, claimants, and others involved in the accident to gather necessary information.
• Determining coverage, liability, and the total value of the claim based on the gathered information.
• Handling Auto Litigation claims within the assigned territory.

Requirements

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling, or
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree, or
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly build rapport and successfully effect settlements.
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing coverage and liability.
• Experience handling Auto Litigation claims.

Skills

• Proficiency in using discovery tools such as interrogatories, depositions, and production of documents.

Pay

• Fresno, Irvine, Riverside, San Diego, Modesto, Sacramento: $36.00 - $47.00 /hour.
• Concord, Woodland Hills, Pasadena, and Torrance: $39.00 - $51.00/hour.

Schedule

This role is a hybrid position, requiring four days of in-office presence per month for important meetings, training, and collaboration. However, preference is given to working in the office more than four days per month if preferred.
