Civil Engineering Technician - Municipal

About the role

Bolton & Menk is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join their team. This role focuses on office drafting for the Municipal group but may also include field work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with design and construction phase activities on various projects
• Performing basic design computations and preliminary layout and design
• Aiding in project plans and specifications, preparing cost and quantity take-off estimates

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution or relevant experience
• Knowledge and skills in CAD and design software (AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation)
• Working knowledge of design and construction techniques and procedures
• Must possess a valid drivers license and own transportation

Qualifications

• Must be able to reimburse for business-related travel

Pay

$45,000 - $75,000 depending on years of experience and credentials
