Civil Engineering - Assistant Project Manager
About the role
As a Civil Engineering Assistant Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Boston, MA offices, you will work with project teams to create civil engineering site development designs, develop permitting and construction plans, and prepare municipal zoning and land development applications for our private and public sector clients.
Responsibilities
- Create civil engineering site development designs
- Develop permitting and construction plans
- Prepare municipal zoning and land development applications
- Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials
- Impact the project from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening
- Work closely with Project Managers and Principals in our civil/site practice to plan and execute projects, communicate with clients, develop new client opportunities, and grow your career
- Cook up with other practices (including geotechnical engineering, environmental, ecological, and other practices) to address project-specific needs
- Mentor junior staff on technical items
- Attend industry organization and client meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; Masters degree preferred
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience
- Engineering in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineering Licesne (P.E.) preferred
- Proficiency in computer modeling software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Storm Sewers
- Ability and desire to mentor junior staff

Pay
The pay range for this position is between $75,000 and $90,000. The hiring range posted is a good faith estimate of what Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. may reasonably offer for the role as outlined. Factors such as additional education and/or experience may influence the actual offering.

Location
Applicants will have an option to sit in either our Raynham, MA or Peabody, MA office locations.
