Civil Engineer/Assistant Project Manager

About the role

As a Civil Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Tucson, AZ office, you'll work with project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, residential, and institutional clients. Your responsibilities include designing site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Create land development plans for various types of projects, including commercial, residential, and institutional sites.
• Design site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality BMPs, and utilities.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and local government officials throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual and design phases to construction and beyond.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
• 5-8 years of professional engineering experience
• Proficient in professional engineering licensure (E.I.T. or P.E.)
• Strong proficiency in computer modeling software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D or HEC-RAS
