Civil Engineer (Project Engineer / Client-Facing)

About the role

This role is well-suited for an experienced civil engineer ready to take the next step toward technical leadership and early project management. You will oversee design tasks, mentor junior staff, and support projects from development through construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and contribute to civil engineering design efforts
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff
• Support project coordination and early project management tasks
• Prepare technical documents and design deliverables
• Communicate with clients and internal project teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Strong CAD-based design experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience supporting projects from development through construction

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of relevant civil engineering experience
• Exposure to project management or task leadership
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or interns
• Client-facing experience

Skills

• Technical proficiency in civil engineering software
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $70,000 and $85,000 based on skill set and experience.
