Project Engineer - Civil
About the role
Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking a talented Civil Project Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Group in our Kansas City, Missouri office. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse site development projects, including healthcare, multifamily, commercial, industrial, educational facilities, and more.
Responsibilities
- Assists in conceptual design.
- Assists in fee determination and proposal preparation.
- Fills out Project Setup Forms and reviews/fills out work authorizations.
- Establishes a QA/QC plan for each project.
- Acts as a mentor for younger engineers and assists with their career development.
- Attends project meetings and represents Martin/Martin, Inc. during design and construction.
- Follows up on collection of account receivables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Kansas or ability to obtain one within 3 months.
- 5–8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
Desired
- Min 4 years’ experience in site development, land development, or infrastructure.
- Min 1 years’ experience with Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Knowledge of or proficiency with Civil3D, StormCAD, FlowMaster, WaterCAD, AutoTurn.
- Shows strong interest in participating in company initiatives
- Construction field experience
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Compensation
- Base Salary: This is a salaried position with accrued time eligibility.
- Accrued Time: Accrued time allows additional compensation or time-off to be earned for any eligible hours worked exceeding 40 hours per week.
- Base Salary Review: This role is eligible to participate in Martin/Martin’s annual base salary increase review process.
- Annual Bonus: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary annual bonus program.
