About the role

We are seeking experienced Civil Engineers-In-Training (EIT) to join our dynamic team in various locations across Oregon and Washington. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive consulting experience alongside industry professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Design streets and utilities in compliance with local regulations.
  • Conduct hydrology and hydraulic calculations for stormwater management systems.
  • Review and approve technical calculations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare stormwater runoff calculations, designs, and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to streamline project progress.
  • Utilize Civil 3D for drafting tasks such as point import, line creation, alignment setup, grading, earthwork calculations, and survey point management.
  • Create and compile submittal packages for various land use applications, construction plans, and documentation.
  • Engage with clients, agencies, and stakeholders to enhance consulting skills and client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent with EIT certification and active pursuit of PE licensure.
  • 1 to 4 years of civil design experience, preferably with increasing project management responsibilities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of coordinating across teams and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and colleagues.
  • Interest in developing consulting skills and gaining exposure to diverse project types, clients, and challenges.
