Civil Engineer-In-Training (EIT)

About the role

A Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) provides both strategic and operational support to service center managers throughout the organization. Sunrise Engineering seeks candidates who are engineering rockstars.

Responsibilities

• Work with a range of differing projects, focusing on attention to detail and accurate data gathering.
• Create precise project plans and blueprints through field reconnaissance and base mapping.
• Conduct construction observations to identify and address potential issues promptly.
• Responsible for Grading Design, Drainage Design and Details, Water, Sewer Design, Geometric layouts of site, roadway improvements, and Water and Sewer and Drainage reports/analysis.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of utilities within projects.
• Take on responsibility and have a sense of ownership, specifically with completing SWPP Plans.

Requirements

• 4 year degree in civil engineering.
• E.I.T. certification.
• Civil 3D/CAD experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for utility coordination and coordination management.
• Accountable and reliable coworker.
