About the role

J+M Infrastructure seeks experienced Civil Construction Heavy Equipment Operators to join their dynamic team. Located in Charlottesville and the Lynchburg, VA area, they offer opportunities to work on various construction projects including demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer and storm drainage.

Responsibilities

- Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Trackhoe, Backhoe, Dozer, End Dump, Skid Steers, Wheel and Track Loader, Mini Excavator, and Roller. - Perform tasks such as clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer and storm drainage. - Assist with new construction projects. - Be part of a team that values and respects its members.

Requirements

- 5 years of experience preferred in civil engineering field. - Ability to read a tape measure. - Ability to lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders. - Virginia resident. - Leader looking to grow. - Pass drug test/screening. - Available to work occasional Saturdays. - Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred. - Concrete experience preferred. - Pipe laying experience preferred.
