Civil Construction Heavy Equipment Operator

J+M Infrastructure seeks a skilled Civil Construction Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. Located in Charlottesville and the Lynchburg, VA area, we offer opportunities to work on various construction sites.

Responsibilities

- Perform demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer and storm drainage. - Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Trackhoe, Backhoe, Dozer, End Dump, Skid Steers, Wheel and Track Loader, Mini Excavator, and Roller. - Read a tape measure and lift up to 60 lbs. - Climb ladders and work on construction sites. - Work occasional Saturdays.

Requirements

- 5 years of experience preferred in civil engineering field. - Ability to read a tape measure. - Strength to lift 60 lbs, squat, and climb ladders. - Must be a Virginia resident. - Leadership skills and willingness to grow. - Successfully passed drug test/screening. - Availability to work occasional Saturdays. - Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred. - Concrete experience preferred. - Pipe laying experience preferred.
