Citrix Engineer

CITRIX Engineer: (with Security Clearance) CERTIFICATIONS: Security + and a Certification in Citrix or equivalent work experience relative to supporting XenApp and XenDesktop platforms LOCATION - (HYBRID): Miami, FL or Los Angeles, CA As the Citrix Engineer, the individual will maintain and manage Citrix applications. The administrator will also install and update Citrix farms, design and plan Citrix NetScalar environments and develop the cloud infrastructure that the Citrix farms run on. In this role, the Citrix Engineer will provide technical support for incident response, service degradations, outages, and other interruptions. In addition, the Citrix Engineer will provide tiers I, II and III support to Citrix XenDesktop (VDi) environments including configuring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in both Citrix PVS and Windows Server environments while investigating hardware and software problems related to the Citrix infrastructure and perform corrective actions. This is a Hybrid role located in Miami, FL, or Los Angeles, CA. ResponsibilitiesPerforms all aspects of Citrix design, performance-monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades and maintenance of all production Citrix systemsSupports applications, hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructureMakes architectural and operational recommendations applying updates to the Citrix environmentsMaintenance, monitoring, upgrading, troubleshootingDaily maintenance and troubleshooting of the servers in CitrixAdministration on Citrix PVS for server maintenance, upgrades, and image maintenance, updates, and upgradesConfigures, deploys, monitors, and maintenance of VDI tasksFollowing vendor and industry best practices for cloud and software configurationDraws upon concepts of tools, technologies, and methodologies to collaborate with other technical specialists when carrying out assigned dutiesHas technical knowledge and depth in maintaining MS Operating SystemPerforms other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office Required Qualifications/Education and ExperienceMust have a valid Security+ CertificationMust have and maintain Public Trust, Secret Security clearance or higher and be eligible for Top-Secret clearanceCertification in Citrix or equivalent work experience relative to supporting XenApp and XenDesktop platformsMinimum 3 or more years of experience with designing, building, and managing Citrix Environments.Must have hands-on experience in Citrix Farm Migrations, Citrix management tools like Director, and Especially RCA preparationMust have hands-on experience in ITIL processes, Incident management and change management, StudioExperience in Citrix Secure Gateway, Web Interface, NetScalerExperience in Building and configuring Citrix FarmsExperienced with deployment of servers utilizing PVS and/or MCS in a virtual environmentWorking knowledge of Insight and Director monitoring platformsMust have and maintain Secret Security clearance or higher OSC Edge delivers a total rewards package that we know will attract, engage and retain top talent.
