Citrix Engineer | Experienced Hire

About the role

The Citrix Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining Citrix infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp environments
• Implement and configure Citrix policies and settings
• Monitor and troubleshoot Citrix services to resolve issues
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Citrix solutions into broader IT strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Citrix management and support
• Experience with Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp, Citrix Workspace, and Citrix ADC
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Qualifications

• CCIE (Certified Internetwork Expert) in either Routing & Switching or Security preferred
• Experience with Citrix Netscaler and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenDesktop/XenApp)
• Hands-on experience with Citrix Cloud (formerly GoToCloud)

Skills

• Technical proficiency with Citrix products
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
