Responsibilities
- Performs all aspects of Citrix design, performance-monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades, and maintenance of all production Citrix systems
- Sustains applications, hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure
- Makes architectural and operational recommendations applying updates to the Citrix environments
- Maintenance, monitoring, upgrading, troubleshooting
- Daily maintenance and troubleshooting of the servers in Citrix
- Administration on Citrix PVS for server maintenance, upgrades, and image maintenance, updates, and upgrades
- Configures, deploys, monitors, and maintenance of VDI tasks
- Follows vendor and industry best practices for cloud and software configuration
Requirements
- Must have a Secret Security clearance or higher, and be eligible for Top-Secret clearance
- Certification in Citrix or equivalent work experience relative to supporting XenApp and XenDesktop platforms
- Minimum 10 or more years of experience with designing, building, and managing Citrix Environments
- Hands-on experience in Citrix Farm Migrations, Citrix management tools like Director, and especially RCA preparation
- Hands-on experience in ITIL processes, Incident management and change management, Studio
- Experience in Citrix Secure Gateway, Web Interface, NetScaler
- Experience in Building and configuring Citrix Farms
- Experienced with deployment of servers utilizing PVS and/or MCS in a virtual environment
- Working knowledge of Insight and Director monitoring platforms
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Security+ Certification
- Must have and maintain Secret Security clearance or higher
