About the role

This position involves assessing and reassessing patients, providing individualized care plans, and communicating findings to other healthcare professionals. The role requires a strong understanding of the nursing process and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized patient assessments and develop care plans
• Provide holistic and patient-centered care
• Communicate findings and recommendations to other healthcare professionals
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as per the plan of care
• Document patient assessments, responses to interventions, and progress
• Initiate emergency resuscitative measures as per protocols
• Report patient condition to appropriate personnel during each shift

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license with the state of Indiana
• Basic Life Support certification
• Current CPR certification
• Completion of mandatory continuing education courses
• Phlebotomy and EKG training
• Telemetry interpretation certification (if required)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including 12-hour shifts
