About the role
This position involves assessing and reassessing patients, providing individualized care plans, and communicating findings to other healthcare professionals. The role requires a strong understanding of the nursing process and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individualized patient assessments and develop care plans
- Provide holistic and patient-centered care
- Communicate findings and recommendations to other healthcare professionals
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as per the plan of care
- Document patient assessments, responses to interventions, and progress
- Initiate emergency resuscitative measures as per protocols
- Report patient condition to appropriate personnel during each shift
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with the state of Indiana
- Basic Life Support certification
- Current CPR certification
- Completion of mandatory continuing education courses
- Phlebotomy and EKG training
- Telemetry interpretation certification (if required)
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 12-hour shifts
