Chinese or Japanese Bilingual Sales Executive

About the Role

A Sales Representative responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, driving sales growth, meeting sales quotas, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting restaurant, wholesale, and distribution customers within an assigned territory. This role involves frequent customer visits, field sales activities, account management, and coordination with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly and annual sales targets established by management.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct customer visits to provide product information, sales support, and service.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
• Conduct market research and implement regional sales strategies.
• Coordinate with accounting to ensure timely payment collection and resolve outstanding balances.
• Travel as needed to meet with clients and support business development efforts.
• Educate customers on product offerings and benefits.
• Attend weekly sales meetings, inventory counts, and company events as required.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Business-level English and (Chinese or Japanese) language proficiency required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably within the Japanese food industry.
• Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to drive and travel for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Business-level Chinese or Japanese language proficiency.
• Associate degree or higher.
• Experience in the Japanese restaurant industry.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Business Central.
• Knowledge of Japanese foods and alcoholic beverages.
• Experience working with restaurant, wholesale, or foodservice customers.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually (plus commission based on performance).

Schedule

Onsite in Chamblee, Georgia (Atlanta metropolitan area), with approximately 50% field-based travel to customer locations, restaurants, wholesalers, and distributors.
