Children’S Residential Care Officer (Auton Sunderland)
About the role
We are seeking individuals passionate about enhancing the lives of children and young people in our care. As a Residential Care Officer, you will support children and young people with complex emotional and behavioral needs.

- Support children and young people to maintain a healthy lifestyle by advising, educating, and promoting positive choices
- Help deliver high-quality residential provision
Requirements
- Experience in children's residential care or transferable skills from a similar role
- Values aligning with St Cuthbert’s Care’s mission and requirements of Ofsted
- Desire to help others and integrity
Qualifications
- Structured training program
- Opportunity to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People if not already held

Pay
£15.04 per hour, plus enhanced overtime and sleep-in rate paid at £80.00 per sleep-in.
Schedule
37 hours per week working over a 7-day rota including weekends and sleep-ins.
