Relief Residential Childcare Worker

Responsibilities

• Supporting children and young people in a residential setting
• Maintaining routines and providing structure
• Responding to emotional and behavioural needs
• Working alongside colleagues to deliver consistent care
• Completing records and contributing to care plans

About you

• You will have experience supporting children, young people or vulnerable individuals and be confident working in a flexible role where no two shifts are the same.
• You will be organised, dependable and able to adapt to different environments while maintaining a consistent approach.
• You will be comfortable working with a range of behaviours and able to quickly build rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3 and must hold a full manual driving licence.
