The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. Programs offer children a Springboard to Life’s Adventures by using movement-based learning and imaginative play to help build the confidence and skills needed at each stage of childhood. For over 40 years, our trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through parent/child classes, gymnastics, dance and sports prep, plus enjoyable extras like camps, Parents’ Survival Nights and Awesome Birthday Bash parties. As a part of The Little Gym team, you will be part of a family dedicated to the growth and development of children all over the globe.
Responsibilities
- Teach amazing classes and lead fabulous birthday parties based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (training provided).
- Be part of a team of instructors who teach classes and run birthday parties on the weekends.
- Coordinate all aspects of birthday parties with families who are hosting at our facility and ensure they have a truly magical experience.
- Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience; treat members like family.
- Lead with positivity to make a positive impact on the growth and development of the children and families of our community.
Requirements
- Open to being playful and energetic (e.g., giving “air” high‑fives, acting like a dinosaur).
- Background in gymnastics, dance, early childhood development, or education is a plus.
- Service‑oriented mindset — making others feel good makes you feel good.
- Natural rapport with children and their parents.
- Positive, upbeat attitude with the ability to balance fun and professionalism.

Pay
Compensation: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour
Schedule
Weekend availability required for birthday parties and classes.

All associated locations are independently owned and operated by a franchisee. This location is operated by Somersault Operating, which currently has 30 The Little Gym locations across 8 states (SC, NC, VA, TN, PA, NJ, WA, CA) with multiple new locations scheduled to open in the coming years. Your application goes directly to the franchise, and all hiring decisions are made by the management of Somersault Operating.
