Position Responsibilities
- Care of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings with an emphasis on Child Neurology.
- Teach medical students and housestaff.
- Organize and develop formal conferences for the housestaff and students emphasizing issues in Child Neurology.
- Attend weekly Grand Rounds and lecture upon occasion as requested.
- Participate in, and when appropriate lead, clinical research and clinical trials.
Qualifications
- BC/BE in Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology.
- Completion of an accredited Child Neurology training program.
- Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
