Pediatric Neurologist
About the role
Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida is seeking a Full-Time Pediatric Neurologist to join their rapidly growing team in Orlando. They have a strong neurosciences center with a growing program in central Florida, including a 6-bed EMU and an active epilepsy surgery program. Gene therapies for FDA-approved neurological conditions are also offered.
Responsibilities
- Participate in equal number of inpatient service week and night calls.
- Provide coverage for the pediatric inpatient floor, PICU, NICU, and pediatric emergency department.
- The inpatient service will have adult neurology residents and medical students on the team.
- First on call with the attending physician during on-call periods.
- Can participate in medical student admission, education, and training.
- Encouraged to be involved in research, quality improvement studies, and academic activities with medical students.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certified or board eligible in area of specialty.
- Valid state medical license.
