Pediatric Neurologist

Description

MaineHealthNeurology is seeking a full-time board certified/eligible Pediatric Neurologist to join their practice. The position is based at the MaineHealth Scarborough Campus with on-site MRI and neurodiagnostic lab, and inpatient responsibilities are at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine and via telehealth.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with a full spectrum of neonatal and pediatric neurological disorders.
• Interpret inpatient and outpatient EEG for neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current in the field of neurology and enhance skills and knowledge.
• Academic responsibilities include teaching Adult Neurology residents, general Pediatrics residents, Child Psychiatry fellows and medical students.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child Neurology.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
