About the role
The Department of Neurology is seeking a full-time member to join our expanding clinical and research enterprises in the Division of Child Neurology. This position will provide patient care, engage in medical student and neurology resident and fellow education, and participate in clinical research.
Responsibilities
- Clinical: Care of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings with an emphasis on Child Neurology.
- Teaching: Organize and develop formal conferences for housestaff and students emphasizing issues in Child Neurology. Attend weekly Grand Rounds and lecture upon request.
- Research: Participate in and, when appropriate, lead clinical research and clinical trials.
- Service: Serve on departmental, School of Medicine, and/or University committees as necessary, and in a professional capacity in their field.
Requirements
- BC/BE in Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology.
- Completion of an accredited Child Neurology training program.
- Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a diverse population.
