Child Behavioral Health Review Specialist

Responsibilities

• Review of all historical clinical documents related to behavioral health treatment.
• Complete face-to-face interviews/observations of your family/guardian and other available parties to obtain psychosocial information.
• Serve as the behavioral health representative on the multi-disciplinary team.
• Complete behavioral health treatment component of the youth’s Master Treatment Plan, developing treatment recommendations, frequencies, duration and measurable treatment goals and objectives.
• Make recommendations for behavioral health treatment settings.
• Update goals in collaboration with facility behavioral health service provider.
• Make recommendations for discharge planning.
• Responsible for completing and submitting assessment reviews within the respective timeline, adhering to quality benchmarks and contractual specifications, utilizing electronic utilization management system.
