About the role
The Child Behavior Specialist plays a crucial role in developing and implementing behavioral intervention plans for children in a therapeutic setting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating child behavior patterns and needs
- Developing and implementing individualized behavioral intervention plans
- Mentoring and training staff on effective behavior management techniques
- Collaborating with parents and other professionals to support child development
- Assessing progress and making adjustments to intervention plans as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience working with children in a therapeutic environment
- Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
$40,000 - $50,000 annually
