Child Behavior Specialist

About the role

The Child Behavior Specialist plays a crucial role in developing and implementing behavioral intervention plans for children in a therapeutic setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating child behavior patterns and needs
• Developing and implementing individualized behavioral intervention plans
• Mentoring and training staff on effective behavior management techniques
• Collaborating with parents and other professionals to support child development
• Assessing progress and making adjustments to intervention plans as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience working with children in a therapeutic environment
• Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$40,000 - $50,000 annually
