About the role
The role involves providing behavioral support to children in a therapeutic setting. This includes developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, and collaborating with families and other professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children based on their needs and goals.
- Facilitate therapy sessions with children, using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for the children.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and plan next steps.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children in a therapeutic environment.
- Valid state license to practice as a therapist or social worker.
- Experience with evidence-based interventions for child behavior disorders.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Knowledge of child development and behavior disorders.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
