Child Behavior Specialist

About the role

The role involves providing behavioral support to children in a therapeutic setting. This includes developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, and collaborating with families and other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children based on their needs and goals.
• Facilitate therapy sessions with children, using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for the children.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and plan next steps.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with children in a therapeutic environment.
• Valid state license to practice as a therapist or social worker.
• Experience with evidence-based interventions for child behavior disorders.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with children and families.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
