Company Name: Mim Sharat Group Location: Anywhere in Bangladesh Job Type: Full-Time Workplace Type: Not Specified Job ID: IJOB202657468 Reports to: CEO Duties And Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the COO is to provide overall operational leadership to Mim Sharat Group and effectively execute the directions and duties assigned by the Board, Managing Director, or CEO. In addition, the COO will perform the following General Duties: Set standards and goals for all business units, ensure proper resource management, and take initiatives for business growth.Oversee banking operations including opening LCs, trade finance, cash flow management, loan management, and maintaining liaison with banks.Supervise import-export operations including customs and port clearance, documentation, foreign currency transactions, and minimizing financial risks.Monitor all government tendering activities including e-tendering (e-GP) as per PPA 2006 and PPR 2025, bid preparation, arranging bank guarantees, preparing all required documents, and ensuring timely submission. Also ensure all departments comply with government laws and group policies.Oversee production operations including flour mills, fortified rice and mixing mills, biscuit factory, and ensure smooth food supply chain management and proper quality control of all products.Supervise transportation and construction operations including managing the cargo vessel fleet and overseeing construction projects.Manage all commodity business operations and supervise daily activities including sales.Monitor information technology and media operations including software development and delivery, increasing revenue from OTT platforms, and improving IPTV and other digital media.Plan and maintain overall group operations and improve work efficiency. Review existing budgets and staffing. Prepare regular operational and management reports.Minimize business risks, implement ERP systems, and maintain good business relationships at all levels.Ensure compliance with existing government regulations and group policies across all departments.Ensure sustainable development of the organization and minimize company losses.
