About the role
The Native American Rights Fund (NARF) is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the organization's operations and support its mission of advancing and protecting Native rights. This role reflects a significant moment in NARF's evolution following a period of substantial growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Finance & Accounting, Development, Information Technology, Facilities, Human Resources, and Communications
- Drive cross-organizational alignment and effectiveness
- Build the infrastructure, organizational capacity, and culture of operational excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Advanced degree in business, finance, law, or related field preferred
- Experience working with Native American communities, Tribal governments, and native advocacy organizations preferred
- Experience working with mission-driven organizations, Public Interest Law Firms, or impact litigation non-profit organizations desirable

Pay
The salary range for this position is $268,000 to $307,000. This salary range is based on the Denver Metro market and the 10-15+ years of experience required for this role. Actual salary within the range will depend on years of experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
