Chief Bridge Engineer

About the role

The Chief Bridge Engineer oversees the design, construction, and maintenance of all bridge projects within the company. This role requires extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles and a proven track record in managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire bridge project lifecycle from conceptual design to completion
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and construction teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Manage budgets and schedules to meet project deadlines
• Ensure adherence to quality control measures throughout the project
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in bridge engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
