Chemline Technician III (1st Shift)

About the role

UCT is a leading player in the semiconductor industry, evolving alongside technological advancements. As a Chemline Technician III, you'll play a crucial role in processing and cleaning tools used in manufacturing cutting-edge devices like smartphones and smart cars.

Responsibilities

• Process parts using chemical and manual cleaning methods.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality processes.
• Complete training on assigned processes.
• Manage daily organization and upkeep of assigned process areas.
• Learn and understand various tank chemistries.
• Prepare chemistry tanks according to the chemical recipe.
• Attend monthly communication meetings and training programs.
• Handle hazardous chemicals safely and adhere to safety protocols.
• Participate in safety programs and complete various training.
• Manage time efficiently and report on goal achievements.
• Maintain a high level of safety and environmental awareness.
• Seek to advance skills and learn new processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• AA degree in a technical field preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing processes or materials.
• Experience in media blast, quality assurance, and parts cleaning/coating technologies.
• Previous experience in the parts cleaning industry is a plus.

Skills

• Ability to take SPC measurements and log data.
• Computer literate, proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and handle hazardous chemicals.

Pay

The starting pay range for this position is $22.79 to $34.23 per hour. The total compensation package includes a range of benefits, including medical, financial, and paid time off.
