Brief Position Overview
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry seeks a non-tenure track Instructor to teach in the areas of general chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and biochemistry.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teaching on-campus
  • Advising, evaluating, and assisting students
  • Curriculum and/or course development

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or PhD in a relevant field
  • Professional experience in area of teaching responsibility
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Able to collaborate successfully with faculty, staff, and students
  • Able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with various constituencies
  • Exercise good judgment and self-motivation
  • Maintain confidentiality of records and information

Position Special Requirements/Additional Information

  • Non-Tenure Track Faculty – Any position that is .5 FTE or more is represented by the Associated Faculty of Montana State University (AFMSU).
