Microbiology & Cell Biology Non-Tenure Track Faculty (Applicant Pool)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teaching on-campus or online courses.
• Advising, evaluating, and assisting students.
• Curriculum and/or course development.
• Participating in weekly faculty meetings.
• Making regular meetings with, collaborating with, and evaluating peer leaders, if assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Master or doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Experience teaching interdisciplinary courses.
• Knowledge of college student development.
• Commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience teaching interdisciplinary courses.
• Demonstrated knowledge of college student development.
• Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity.
• Ability to relate to students and develop classroom rapport.
• Effective interpersonal skills including collaboration with faculty and staff.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Skills in engaging pedagogy involving students in the learning process.
• Initiative and ability to work independently.
• Able to learn material quickly.
