Duties and Responsibilities
- Teaching on-campus or online courses.
- Advising, evaluating, and assisting students.
- Curriculum and/or course development.
- Participating in weekly faculty meetings.
- Making regular meetings with, collaborating with, and evaluating peer leaders, if assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Master or doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- Experience teaching interdisciplinary courses.
- Knowledge of college student development.
- Commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience teaching interdisciplinary courses.
- Demonstrated knowledge of college student development.
- Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity.
- Ability to relate to students and develop classroom rapport.
- Effective interpersonal skills including collaboration with faculty and staff.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Skills in engaging pedagogy involving students in the learning process.
- Initiative and ability to work independently.
- Able to learn material quickly.
