Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
• Escorts customers to products, secures items, loads/unloads heavy items, and passes along customer suggestions or requests
• Answers the telephone and provides friendly, helpful service
• Operates cash register accurately, scans product, and handles various transactions
• Stocks, faces, rotates merchandise, cleans shelves, and maintains cleanliness of the work area
• Reports improper cash levels and adheres to sanitation procedures
• Assists store management and performs other job-related duties as required

Requirements

• Carries out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
• Understands and follows verbal or demonstrated instructions
• Performs arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
• Understands and practices proper sanitation procedures
• Exerts up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Has vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision
• Exercises physical abilities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
