Charge RN - MedSurg, Pulmonary, Nights

Role: Registered Nurse in the Pulmonary Medical Surgical Unit, providing specialized care for patients with respiratory issues in a 12-bed unit located on the 6th floor of a modern hospital tower. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care utilizing nursing processes for patients from birth through the lifecycle.Coordinate patient care activities and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.Collaborate closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists.Communicate patient status, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership.Serve as a resource and guide for staff, ensuring standards of practice are maintained.Adjust patient ratios based on volume and acuity, providing clinical care as needed during shifts. Qualifications: Graduate of a nursing program.Minimum of one year hospital nursing experience required; two or more years preferred.Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.BLS certification.Bachelor's degree and advanced specialty certification preferred.Demonstrated clinical competency.
