About the role
The role involves coordinating the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, managing operational issues during shifts, and providing clinical support as needed based on patient census. The nurse serves as a resource for staff guidance and communicates patient care, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least 1 year of hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
- Valid RN licensure in the state; Multistate licensure accepted
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and Pediatric ACLS/PALS if applicable
- Specialty certifications as necessary, including fetal monitoring and advanced certifications in specific areas
- Emergency Department experience allows 30 days to obtain PALS certification
