Charge RN - Emergency Department, Night Shift

About the Role

The Emergency Department Patient Flow Coordinator ensures the safe and efficient movement of patients through the ED. They coordinate patient care activities, serve as a liaison with medical staff, delegate workload, and exemplify teamwork, leadership, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow within the ED to promote safety and efficiency
• Coordinate all patient care activities and communicate with medical staff
• Delegate tasks appropriately and serve as a role model for teamwork and leadership

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year ED RN experience and involvement in quality or process improvement projects
• Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate licensure

Skills

• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS; CEN preferred
