Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive patient assessments to gather health data.
• Analyzes assessment data to formulate accurate nursing diagnoses.
• Identifies expected patient outcomes based on assessment and diagnosis.
• Develops individualized care plans to achieve identified outcomes.
• Implements nursing interventions to address patient needs and achieve care plan goals.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions and patient progress towards outcomes.
• Revises care plans based on ongoing assessment and evaluation.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members in the care process.
• Documents all aspects of the nursing process accurately and timely.
• Utilizes critical thinking and clinical judgment in all phases of the nursing process.
• Safeguards compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards in nursing practice.
• Engages in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient care.

Requirements

• Education: Associate's of Nursing [Required], Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
• Work Experience: Emergency Department nursing experience [Required], Previous charge nurse experience [Preferred]
• Licenses and Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) [Required], Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required], Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required], Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required], Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC) [Preferred]
